Mr. Li Chunsheng - Chairman, ICA-Asia Pacific

Mr. Li Chunsheng is the President of ICA Asia-Pacific and the Vice President of All China Federation of Supply and Marketing Co-operatives (ACFSMC), hold the rank of a Deputy Minister. He, during his long period of service, worked with Helihe farm in Heilongjiang Province, HRD Department of the office of the Deputy Director General of Forest Affairs, Second and First Secretary and Division Chief of the State Council and Division Chief of the Fourth division of the Second Secretariat of the State Council. Worked as Secretary at the General Office of the State Council, became Deputy Secretary General of All China Federation of Supply and Marketing Co-operatives, then became the Deputy Secretary General and Director of Farm inputs bureau, Director and Secretary General of International Co-operation Department and finally the Vice President of ACFSMC.He took over as the ICA President for Asia-Pacific and Vice President for ICA, Global, from Mr. Mu Li, which was endorsed by the ICA Regional Assembly, held at Colombo, Sri Lanka, on 18 August, 2006

Dr. Chandra Pal Singh Yadav - Vice Chairman, ICA-Asia Pacific

Dr. Chandra Pal Singh Yadav, a Member of the Upper House of Indian Parliment (Rajya Sabha), is the Chairman of Krishak Bharti Cooperative Ltd. (KRIBHCO) and all its subsidiaries. He is also the President of NCUI, the apex institution of cooperative movement in India. In addition, Dr. Yadav is presently the Vice Chairperson of International Cooperative Alliance - Asia and Pacific (ICA-AP) region. He is also representing on the Boards of International Raiffeisen Union (IRU), germany, National Cooperative Consumers' Federation of India (NCCF), National Agriculture Cooperative Marketing Federation (NAFED), National Federation of Urban Coop Banks & Credit Societies (NAFCUB), Cooperative Bank of India (COBI), National Federation of State Coop Banks (NAFSCOB) and many other state and district level cooperative organizations. In above capacities, he has contributed immensely towards training, education and capacity building of cooperatives in India as well as overseas. Born on March 19, 1959 into a family of freedom fighters and agriculturists in a small hamlet of Utter Pradesh, Dr. Yadav, holds M.Sc, B.Ed, L.L.B and PhD degrees.

Ms. Chitose Arai -  Vice Chairman, ICA- Asia Pacific

JCCU, Japan

Ms. Chitose Arai serves as the Vice President of Japanese Consumers' Co-operative Union (JCCU) since 2015. JCCU is the sole national federation of consumer co-operatives embracing 28 million individual members. She is also the Chairperson of Co-op Mirai, the biggest consumer co-op in Japan.
She was elected as a board member of Saitama Co-op in 2005 and served for 8 years. SHe was elected as a board member of Co-op Mirai in 2013 when Saitama Co-op merged with Co-op Tokyo and Chiba Co-op to Co-op Mirai.

H. A.M. Nurdin Halid -  Indonesia

AM. Nurdin Halid was born on 17th November 1958 in Watampone-Sulawesi, Indonesia. He Graduated in 1982 from Institute of Teaching and Education of Makassar – South Sulawesi. He started his career on the first time as a teacher and then join in the rural cooperative organization in South Sulawesi more than 25 years ago. After he became chairman of national federation of rural cooperative he has been elected as President of DEKOPIN- (the Indonesian Cooperative Council) for the two term period from 2009- 2019. He also ever been member the parliament (the Indonesian House of Representative) in 1997-2005.

Mr. Alireza Gharagozlou - Iran

Mr. Alireza Gharagozlou Deputy of Economic and International Affairs of Iran chamber of cooperatives (ICC), PhD holder in international business. His profession and 16 years background is International Business Development and Business Matching. Although he is young, more than 100 international business travels to all continents made him a real international practitioner with good understanding of global business environment and also a Progmatic University lecturer.

Mr. Attorney Adolfo A.Ibañez

Mr. Attorney Adolfo A.Ibañez was voted Chairperson of the NATCCO Network at the Organizational Meeting held right after the NATCCO General Assembly on April 16. He brings with him the pioneering spirit as he was the third Chairperson of the Network and has served as Chair for 1989-1992 and 1994-1996. He was also one of the incorporators when NATCCO registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) in April 23, 1987. He has served as Vice Chairperson for 2015-2016; and Chairperson of the Mediation and Conciliation Committee from 2013-2015.
Atty. Ibañez is a founding member of Region 8 COMELEC Employees MultiPurpose Cooperative (RECEMPCO) based in Tacloban City.

Mr. Byeong Won Kim - S. KOREA

Mr. Byeong Won Kim,has devoted his life and career to agriculture and the co-operative movement. He truly believes that the co-operative business model yields opportunities to improve the livelihoods of the socially and economically weak in adherence to his belief.

Mr. A. Lalith W. Peiris - SRI LANKA

Mr. Peiris was Born on December 23, 1960 in Negombo. He joined Sri Lankan Co-operative Movement 20 years ago. Presently he is Chairman of Wennappuwa Multipurpose Co-operative Society, Chairman of Halawatha District Co-operative Council and Chairman of Co-operative Insurance Company Ltd, also he is the Chairman of Tile Producers Co-operative Society and Director of Co-operative Rural Bank Federation as well as he is working as Member of Management Committee of National Institute of Co-operative Development. Mr. Peiris had participated in many International Co-operative Education and Training Programme, seminar, conference and Exposure Visit Programme in my countries. Presently he is BOD member of ICA-AP.

Mr. Dato Hj. Abdul Fattah Hj. Abdullah – President, ANGKASA

Dato' Haji Abdul Fattah bin Haji Abdullah was born on October 1, 1956. He graduated from University of Pura Malaysia with Bachelor of Communication and also possess a Professional Diploma in Entrepreneurship and Business Management from University of Malaya. He has been active in Cooperative Movement since 2000 when he was elected as the Chairman of the Smallholder Cooperative of Lipis, Pahang. In 2014, Dato' Haji Abdul Fattah bin Haji Abdullah was elected as President of ACO until 2018 at the ASEAN Cooperative Organizations (ACO) meeting in Bali, Indonesia. Dato' Haji Abdul Fattah bin Haji Abdullah is currently serving as Board of Director, Cooperative College of Malaysia (CCM) since August 2013. He is also elected as Chairman of Malaysian Cooperative Ltd since 2010. His reputation and leadership experience has eld him to be an advisor in various youth and non- government organisation. He also had working experience in Malaysian Government sector from 1979 until 2007.

Mr. Kwek Kok Kwong – Singapore

Mr. Kwek Kok Kwong has been the CEO, NTUC LearningHub CO-operatives since February 2013 though he has been with the co-operative movement since 2012. In the last 3.5 years, he has led LearningHub to be leading training organization and cooperative in Singapore, training more than 10,000 workers per month in various areas like trade skills, soft skills, IT, safety and health, service excellence, and innovation so that they remain relevant to market needs.
He believes in lifelong learning, graduating in Mathematics, Public Adminstration and is now a certified Neuro-Linguistic Programming practitioner. As an avid spotsman, he is constantly challenging himself in marathons and golf, a discipline of staying focus and overcoming challenges, traits much needed in the co-operative movement. Prior to joining NTUC, Kok Kwong served with distinction in the Singapore Armed Forces (SAF) for 27 years till 31 July 2012.

Mr. Keshav Prasad Badal- Nepal

Hon. Badal is the ex-minister of Nepal and now a member of Parliament. Holding the post of Chairman of National Cooperative Federation of Nepal (NCF/N). Spent long time in the cooperative movement as a cooperative leader and one of the key person in drafting The Cooperative Act 1992. He Completed Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Tribhuvan University, Nepal. Advisor of the National Cooperative Bank Ltd and Nepal Agriculture Central Co-operative Federation (NACCF). He also holds the public position such as Coordinator of National Advocacy Center for Natural Resources and Former Chairman of High Level Land Reform Commission, Government of Nepal.
Author of various cooperative related book such as "Cooperative Principles and its Application", "Cooperatives for Economic Prosperous", "Eco-politics for Land and Agriculture", "China's Eco-politics and Cooperatives, Cooperatives?, "Land Reform in Nepal" etc has published several cooperative articles in different magazines.

Dr. Sukesh Zamwar - Chairperson, ICA Asia and Pacific Committee  Youth Co-operation

Dr Sukesh Zamwar is the chairperson of the ICA Asia and Pacific Committee Youth Co-operation and a co-opted member of the ICA Asia and Pacific Board. He serves as the Vice President of the ICA Global Youth Network.

He is also the Indian Coordinator for the Asian Confederation of Credit Unions. He obtained his M.S from Germany and Masters of business administration (MBA) in banking and finance from India. He is the Chief Managing Director of the Buldana Urban Co-operative Credit Society which is the largest primary credit society in India with a business mix of 1.1 billion USD. and 500000 members . He also manages several subsidiary companies and charitable trusts.

Recently he was awarded the Credit Union microfinance Innovation award in Philippines and is often found serving the credit movements across South Asian region. Dr. Sukesh was twice awarded the highest co-operative award by the NCUI among other recognitions. Currently his projects include extending technical help to the African Cooperative movement to develop credit union structure along with establishing an International Cooperative Training College in Shirdi, India.

He has adopted 100 villages for development and financial inclusion of marginalised people.
